Hailing from the streets of Northern New Jersey, Bigwig has spent the last 30 years evolving and perfecting their basement craft into a world-renowned, well-oiled machine, with no end in sight.

Decades ahead of their time, their forged dynamic sound is a speed-driven, multi-genre, technically polished blend of equal parts melodic punk, thrash metal, and New Jersey hardcore.

Guitarist and vocalist Tom Petta’s satirical, intelligent, and often poignant lyrics are not only timeless in their sentiment, they continue to be relevant to pressing environmental and ethical issues.

Bringing a social and political awareness to the stage in their signature high-energy and ear-bleeding sets, Bigwig have toured the world with friends such as Blink-182, Pennywise, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less Than Jake, Screeching Weasel, No Use For A Name, and the Vans Warped Tour, just to name a few.

With a formidable run of five influential record releases on Fearless, Concord, Cleopatra, and Fueled By Ramen Records, Bigwig have been credited for influencing and inspiring bands such as My Chemical Romance, Yellowcard, and Sum 41.
